Our Story

LifeChange International, established in 2001, is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to transform the lives and living conditions of people around the world.

For many years LifeChange has worked in Uganda building schools; supporting Dwelling Places, a children’s home; providing for the education of thousands of children; assisting in community social needs; buying land for farming; establishing youth trade education programs (such as carpentry, tailoring, computer technology) and building dormitories.

In Mexico, LifeChange has participated in building many homes for people living in appalling conditions in the colonias just outside Juarez. More than once LifeChange has raised three homes from foundation to completion in one week. At the same time we take food, clothing and medical supplies to encourage and meet the needs of those struggling in the surrounding community.

In the Philippines, ex-Marine Captain Jack Fairweather and his wife Tammy are rescuing children who have been living on the streets in appalling neglect, providing them a wonderful home. Currently 43 children live in three homes, receiving education, food, and medical care.

In Sicily, LifeChange has a team working with the refugees fleeing from the African and Middle Eastern countries to Italy.

LifeChange also supports various health projects and education programs in the Middle East, partners with a couple in Hungary who is engaged in marriage and family counseling throughout Europe, and supports work in Sicily that reaches out to the many refugees who have migrated across the Mediterranean during the past few years.

We hope you will join us in our endeavors!
